Two people with a passion would be an appropriate description of us. It has been several ago years that we feel strongly connected with the Shiba. The Shiba has fascinated us in all its facets and maked us decide to start our own kennel. On our way we participate in the development of the Shiba.

We, Joyce Nijmeijer and Jasper Verboon came into contact with the Shiba after a surge along all races to find a race where we felt connected to. From large to small, from long hair to short hair we have them all seen or discussed. But we always came back to the Shiba.

At that time a relatively unknown breed in the Netherlands, but there was some information available. And after a visit to a breeder everything fell into place. We wanted a Shiba and were pleased that we could achieve that.

This was the beginning of a new phase in our lives. What is anticipated to a hobby, where we together spend much time and energy in to it, with total satisfaction.

Important that we find it remains a unique breed with all its characteristic features. Besides the optimal development of the breed is the nature of the Shiba central to our vision.
